XJEI · safer, faster, surgical electrical diagnostics · a Dorbs product

See the electrical system, not just the outlet.

Hands-free electrical diagnostics for any premises — home, commercial, or industrial. XJEI finds hazardous conditions and demystifies strange system behavior in minutes, identifying not just what is happening but the root cause behind it — so electrical professionals can put recommendations in place, and capture how the system performed before and after the work.

Whole-system electrical diagnostics from the outlets

Plug in. Observe. Diagnose with evidence.

An electrician measures one point at a time and reconstructs the problem mentally. An electrician, technician, or facility manager places several small XJEI devices at ordinary accessible points — and XJEI observes the electrical system simultaneously and reconstructs what is happening across it.

01

Plug in

Place XJEI devices at accessible points across the premises — different rooms and areas, different circuits. Just plug them into a standard outlet — no panel access, no bare wires, no tools.

02

Observe

Leave them running for a few minutes — or hours, or days if the behavior calls for it. The system captures what actually happens, including the intermittent behavior that disappears whenever someone arrives to look at it.

Every XJEI location takes millions of measurements per second. Events too brief to appear on a conventional instrument are recorded rather than missed between readings.

03

Diagnose with evidence

What happened. Where the evidence points. How confident the system is. What to test next — including AI-directed suggestions to repeat a test around a particular piece of equipment or condition, or to re-run it with modified device settings.

The AI harness adjusts XJEI device configuration and distributes new measurement parameters across the deployment for a surgical follow-up test.

Scene 01 · The shift

One measurement at a time can't see a system.

A multimeter answers one question, at one point, at one moment. Most difficult electrical problems are relationships between points — and relationships only appear when you can watch several places at once.

Traditional troubleshooting

With XJEI

CONTINUOUS, TIME-ALIGNED 6 POINTS · SYNCHRONIZED · OVER TIME

One event. Many perspectives.

When a compressor starts, XJEI knows which observations belong to the same electrical event — even when the devices sit in different rooms, areas, zones, or buildings, and on different circuits. That alignment is what turns several monitors into one instrument.

Nothing has to be opened.

Observation happens from ordinary accessible points. The investigation narrows before anyone opens a wall, pulls a device, or replaces a part on suspicion.

Scene 02 · Separation

Is it everywhere — or just here?

This is the question that decides where the work goes. Every device participates in the evaluation — XJEI reads each record as a sequence of electrical features, aligns them against each other, and synthesizes where the signature is shared and where it concentrates.

SVC OBSERVATION POINTS · ANY PREMISES ALIGNED ELECTRICAL FEATURE SEQUENCE PER DEVICE

Shared signature

When the same feature sequence appears across devices that share little except a common source, the evidence points away from any single area, circuit, or piece of equipment — and toward something shared or upstream.

Localized signature

All devices still participate in the evaluation — but when the signature concentrates at a few of them and thins elsewhere, those devices localize the problem, and the search area shrinks from a whole property to a few square feet.

Scene 03 · Evidence

Know what the evidence supports — and what it doesn't.

The XJEI AI harness evaluates competing explanations against synchronized evidence rather than settling on the first one that fits. And when the evidence cannot yet separate two possibilities, it says so, and recommends what to observe next.

Assessment

Basis

    Confidence

A system that can say not enough evidence yet is worth more in the field than one that always produces an answer. XJEI reports what it can support, and directs the next observation when it can't.

    For electrical professionals

Built for the calls that are hardest to diagnose.

The emotional job on these calls is two-part: find the problem faster, and show the customer why you believe that's the problem. XJEI is built for both.

“The lights flicker, but only sometimes.”Intermittent behavior, no reproducible trigger

“We’ve replaced the appliance. It’s still happening.”Trial-and-error replacement with no definitive outcome

“Is this inside the house, or coming from the utility?”The argument that stalls the job

“Something is wrong with the neutral, but where?”Neutral-path behavior that one outlet can’t reveal

“The problem disappears whenever we arrive.”Behavior that won’t perform on a service call

“This equipment is disturbing other loads. Why?”Interaction between equipment and the rest of the system

Leave XJEI behind and let the electrical system tell the story.

    Capabilities

Safety first. Then everything else the system reveals.

The first job is finding conditions that put people, animals, and equipment at risk — the ones that are invisible from a single outlet and rarely announce themselves before something goes wrong.

Conditions that put people and animals at risk

Identify abnormal voltage and path behavior — including neutral and grounding-path conditions — that can create shock and touch-potential hazards, and localize where it appears strongest.

Behavior associated with elevated fire risk

Recognize unusual high-frequency and noise-like electrical behavior of the kind associated with loose connections and degraded terminations, and identify where it concentrates — so an electrician knows where to look.

    Conditions that damage equipment

Surface the sustained disturbances and interactions that quietly shorten the life of motors, drives, electronics, and sensitive instruments long before anything fails outright.

    Wiring integrity & neutral conditions

Neutral problems are difficult to see from a single outlet. XJEI compares line and neutral-path behavior across multiple synchronized locations to reveal adverse conditions across the system.

    Hot spots along network paths

Localize where electrical stress concentrates along the distribution paths of the premises and within the main panel — the junctions that carry it worst.

    Root cause behind mysterious behavior

Intermittent faults, unexplained equipment behavior, flicker, disturbances that come and go — attributed to a local load, another part of the premises, or a shared source, rather than merely detected.

    Harmonics & high-frequency behavior

Map how disturbances from modern electronic loads — EV chargers, inverters, LED drivers, VFDs, UPS systems — propagate through a facility and where they originate.

    AI-directed follow-up testing

Turn a controlled load into a diagnostic probe, and let the AI harness adjust device settings and distribute new parameters for a surgical re-test — including reasoning about locations where no device is installed.

    Digitalized system performance

Capture how the system behaved before an engagement and after it — a record of electrical performance that can be compared, revisited, and handed over.

    Where the stakes are highest

In mission-critical facilities, electrical behavior isn’t a comfort issue — it is an operating condition. Government and military sites, industrial processes, laboratories, data and communications rooms, healthcare and cold-chain environments: places where an unexplained disturbance is a risk to the mission, the process, or the record.

XJEI is designed to be deployed and removed without interrupting operations — and to leave behind evidence of what the electrical system was actually doing while it ran.

    Service lines

A diagnostic service, not a sensor purchase.

XJEI is engineered to augment an electrical firm’s diagnostic efforts — letting the firm offer its customers the most comprehensive diagnostic service available. Deploy devices across the premises for a period of time; return with what happened, where the evidence points, and what to do next.

    Diagnose

For intermittent or hard-to-diagnose electrical problems. Deploy, observe, and narrow the investigation before parts are replaced or walls are opened.

    Safety Assessment

Identify conditions across the premises that put people, animals, or equipment at risk — and where a qualified electrician should investigate first.

    Wiring Integrity

A broader assessment of wiring and neutral-path behavior across the premises, drawn from distributed observation over time rather than a single walkthrough.

    Power Quality

Voltage behavior, harmonic and high-frequency disturbances, flicker, and how equipment interacts with the rest of the system.

    Verify

Measure before the corrective work; confirm how system behavior changed after it. Evidence the customer can see.

    New Equipment

Understand how the system responds before and after an EV charger, heat pump, HVAC unit, solar inverter, battery, or other large load arrives.

    Monitor

Longer-term observation where electrical behavior needs to be tracked rather than sampled — building an electrical history instead of a snapshot.

    For the electrical firm

Take on diagnostic work that is hard to perform economically today.

XJEI doesn't replace your electricians. It makes your best diagnostician scalable.

    Fewer truck rolls

Capture intermittent behavior without waiting on site for it to happen.

    Less trial-and-error replacement

Use system-wide evidence before swapping components on suspicion.

    Higher-value service calls

Turn open-ended troubleshooting into a premium diagnostic engagement with a deliverable.

    Better customer communication

Show the evidence instead of describing your intuition.

    Verified outcomes

Demonstrate how system behavior changed after the corrective work.

    A recurring relationship

A one-time repair becomes ongoing diagnostics and monitoring.

    Remote diagnostics — coming soon

Devices left on site will report back, so a firm can begin the diagnosis before anyone is dispatched — and decide who to send, with what, and when.

    Beyond the service call

The electrical system has been largely unobservable as a whole. That's the part XJEI changes.

Individual points have always been measurable. The system has not. XJEI is closer to an MRI of the electrical system than to a better meter — many synchronized views, assembled into a picture of the whole.

    Homeowners

Safety comes first: children, pets, and the risk of an electrically caused fire. A fifteen-minute diagnostic can surface conditions nobody in the house can see — and that no single outlet test would reveal.

And when something simply doesn’t seem right — flickering, electronics failing, a problem that comes and goes — find out where to look before paying to guess.

XJEI is delivered through electrical professionals, who remain the trusted interpreter.

    Property transactions

An inspection sees what is accessible during a short visit. An XJEI wiring integrity assessment adds distributed electrical observation captured over time — a deeper data layer for due diligence.

A complement to inspection, not a substitute for it.

    Insurers & portfolios

Electrical condition has been a static assumption. XJEI makes previously invisible electrical behavior measurable, trackable over time, and comparable across properties.

From electrical risk as an assumption to electrical condition as evidence.

XJEI is an architecture, not a residential gadget. The same distributed approach extends into commercial and three-phase environments — phase relationships, shared behavior, neutral-path effects, and distortion across a facility.

    Request a field engagement

Bring XJEI to a call you can't close.

We're working directly with a small number of electrical firms on real jobs — the intermittent ones, the arguments about house-versus-utility, the calls that have already had two visits. Tell us about the problem and we'll come back to you.
