Dorbs
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Dorbs Inc. ("Dorbs," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit dorbs.com or sign up for updates.
Notice at collection (summary)
When you sign up for updates we collect your name, email address, and an optional note, to contact you about Dorbs. We keep it until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. Full detail below.
1. Who we are
Dorbs Inc. is a Delaware corporation operating from California, building AI for the electric industry. You can reach us at info@dorbs.com.
2. Information we collect
You give us:
- Name and email address (email required to sign up for updates).
- An optional note / message.
- Anything you include when you email or otherwise contact us.
Collected automatically:
- Standard server/log data (IP address, browser and device type, referring page, timestamps).
- Analytics: we use analytics tools to understand site usage (aggregate visits, pages, referrers, approximate location). These tools may set cookies. We do not use analytics to sell your data or for cross-site advertising.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children (Section 10).
3. How we use your information
To operate the updates list and contact you about news, demos, and updates you signed up for; to respond to your inquiries; to keep the site secure; and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. How we share information
Only with:
- Service providers / processors acting for us — our signup form service Web3Forms (receives your submission and emails it to us), website hosting, email, and our analytics provider — under terms limiting their use to providing the service.
- Legal/safety recipients where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor entity in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies, analytics & opt-out signals
By using this site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We use cookies needed to run the site and analytics tools to understand usage, which may set cookies. We do not use them to sell your information or for cross-site advertising, and we honor browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). We do not display a cookie-consent banner (a US-focused choice); if we begin targeting EU/UK users, we will add consent mechanisms where required.
6. Data retention
We keep your signup details until you ask to be removed or they are no longer needed, then delete them. At our current scale the signup record is simply the email Web3Forms sends us (which carries the date); we remove it on request. Any website server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period in line with its standard practices.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or by emailing info@dorbs.com.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) — subject to legal limits, you may: know/access, delete, and correct your personal information; opt out of sale/sharing (we don't sell or share); limit use of sensitive personal information (we don't collect it); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Delaware residents (DPDPA) — subject to legal limits, you may: confirm/access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and certain profiling (we don't do these).
To exercise: email info@dorbs.com. We may verify your identity, and aim to respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). If we decline, we explain why; Delaware residents may appeal by replying, and if denied may contact the Delaware Department of Justice. California residents may use an authorized agent.
9. Do not sell or share
Dorbs does not sell or share personal information. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide the required opt-out.
10. Children's privacy
The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us information, email info@dorbs.com and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
The site is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the U.S. If you access the site or sign up from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be handled in the U.S. under this Policy. Wherever you are, you may contact info@dorbs.com to access or delete your information. (This Policy does not provide full GDPR/UK-GDPR compliance; if we begin targeting or marketing to EU/UK users, we will add the required terms.)
12. Third-party links
The site may link to sites we don't control; their practices are governed by their own policies.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date; material changes communicated as required by law.
